Into the Woods weaves classic fairy tales—Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel—around a Baker and his Wife who wish to have a child. After being cursed by a Witch, the couple enters the woods seeking a cow, cape, hair, and slipper to break the spell. While wishes come true amid the adventures, consequences follow. After a vengeful Giant brings chaos, the characters have to face responsibility, loss, and some challenging questions.
